Eddy Von Mueller
In October of 2024, former AV Creative Director Eddy Von Mueller stepped into founder William A. Brown’s sizeable shoes as CEO. A ex-animator, defrocked paleontologist, and recovering film professor, Eddy turned to cinema in the mid-’90s after a tragic Ouija Board accident cut short a promising career as a freelance necromancer. He holds a PhD from Emory University, and served on the faculties of both Georgia State University and Emory, where he helped found one of the nation’s first pre-professional programs for undergrads interested in careers in Film and Media Studies. In addition to writing, producing and directing projects in a wide range of formats, he has contributed reviews and commentaries to TCM, TNT, NBC, FilmStruck, Kino-Lorber Home Video.

In that time, she has managed to keep a wide variety of projects on track and on time. Michael Leland
As AV's chief image generator and technical engineer, Michael is just waiting for an Ai to replace him. Cameras are HEAVY and screenwriting is HARD. Bring on the bots! Until then, he prefers the analog approach of pencil, paper, and espresso.
A student of film form, Michael's Media Criticism studies at Emory focused on content creation and industrial analysis. Add five years working in broadcast television and a decade in corporate communications, and you have a creative intimately familiar with changing technology. On your project, Michael's primary job is to listen, consult, and execute.
